Your Harvard: Mexico

The President of Harvard University Drew Gilpin Faust recently met with school officials and Mexican alumni in one of the largest events in the Your Harvard series.

On October 21, 2014, the President of Harvard University Drew Gilpin Faust met with school officials and Mexican alumni in a celebration of Harvard in Mexico. The event was part of “Your Harvard”, a series of events bringing together Harvard alumni, parents, and friends around the world throughout The Harvard Campaign. During the event, the 25th anniversary of the Fundación México en Harvard, A.C was also celebrated.

The event took place in the historic Museo Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso and Anfiteatro Simón Bolívar. The evening featured remarks by President of Harvard University and Lincoln Professor of History Drew Gilpin Faust, and she discussed the university's role in leading change through innovation in education, as well as the importance of creativity. A cocktail promptly followed with the participation of the many guests that attended the event.
